Terms of delivery

General

All prices in the online store are in Euros and include a VAT of 24%. Akmeelikoru reserves the right to price changes in case of sudden changes in the world market prices of precious metals. The price changes do not apply to confirmed orders, but the customers will be notified of the changes prior to order confirmation. Akmeelikoru online store complies with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

Placing an order

Private customers
Before placing an order, the customer must read the terms of delivery and payment. The terms are accepted while the order is placed by checking the box ”I have read and I accept the terms of delivery and payment.”.
Corporate customers
Corporate customers can order a wholesale price list by e-mail. The terms of payment and delivery are agreed on separately with each corporate customer.

Methods of payment

The order can be paid with PayPal, by bank transfer prior to delivery or with cash on delivery. After receiving the order, we send a confirmation to the e-mail address provided by the customer. At this point, a binding contract between Akmeelikoru and the customer is formed. The confirmation letter also specifies the order handling fees.
Bank transfer prior to delivery: An invoice is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer. The term of payment is 7 days from the date of the invoice.
Cash on delivery: The order is paid on delivery at a post office. An additional COD fee is added to the order handling fee according to the price list of Itella Oyj.
PayPal Express: We accept the most usual payment cards including debit cards and credit cards (such as Visa, MasterCards, AMEX). The order is paid via PayPal. Payment information is gathered through the PayPal website, and the payment is subject to PayPal terms and conditions. The order and transfer are confirmed at Akmeelikoru website. The order is delivered after we have received confirmation on the completion of the transfer.

Time and method of delivery

The order is usually delivered within 7 days after the order is placed. If the time of delivery is longer, the customer will be notified separately.
All orders are delivered via Finnish Post, unless agreed otherwise.

Order handling fees in Finland

Private customer
By default, all orders are 1st class letters, under 30 mm thick and weighing under 250 g.
Order handling fee for orders paid with bank transfer prior to delivery 4.00€
Order handling fee for orders paid with cash on delivery 8.80€
Except for:
Rings and necklaces (over 30 mm thick) maxi letter.
Order handling fee for orders paid with bank transfer prior to delivery 7.40€
Order handling fee for orders paid with cash on delivery 12.20€
If the dimensions of the package exceed the limits mentioned above, the order handling fees are determined by the shape and size of the package, and the customer will be notified of the fees in the letter of confirmation.

Order handling fees outside Finland

(In EU/EEC countries including the Channel Islands (Guernsey, Jersey), Faroe Islands, Greenland, Canary Islands, Island of Man, Cyprus, Monaco; excluding* Gibraltar, Malta, Liechtenstein) Only as insured mail, maximum weight 2 kg. Order handling fee via PayPal 19.70€. The fee does not include possible customs duties.
*It is not permitted to send jewelry to these countries.

Returns

According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the customer has the right to return a product within 14 days of receiving it. The product must be unused and in its original packaging. If the product has been used, the sale cannot be cancelled. Akmeelikoru covers all return costs and the customer will be reimbursed as soon as possible.

Reclamations

If the products are damaged during delivery or if the product is incorrect or defective in any way, the customer must contact Akmeelikoru immediately. If the customer notices damage in the package upon collecting it, they must first submit a damage report to the Finnish Post.

Privacy protection

All customer information is used solely for the communication between Akmeelikoru and the customer and is not released to third parties.
